Now Hiring: Police Lateral Transfers
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Police Officer Lateral Transfer. Qualified applicants will have successfully completed a recognized accredited law enforcement academy and have at least 1 year of prior law enforcement experience. Applications may be picked up in person at the Sheriff’s Department: 1445 Gardner Ln. NW, Corydon, IN 47112 or obtained online at the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department’s website: www.hcsdin.net. All applicants must turn in a completed application on or prior to the physical fitness assessment date to be considered for employment.
The physical fitness agility testing will be conducted on Wednesday, November 28th at 10:00 A.M. The location of the testing will be at Corydon Central High School, 375 Country Club Road, Corydon, IN 47112. All applicants must be in excellent physical condition and be able to pass the ILEA physical fitness exit standards (www.in.gov/ilea/2338.htm).
